SEAPEAK ANNOUNCES NEW HOME FOR TRAINING & ASSURANCE CENTRE

New facility sets benchmark for industry-leading Officer competence and operational excellence

Seapeak is proud to announce the relocation of its training facilities to a shared site with its Glasgow-based Operational Hub. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Seapeak's commitment to fostering the highest standards of professionalism and operational excellence across its fleet.

In conjunction with the relocation, the facility has undergone a comprehensive rebrand and will now be known as the Seapeak Training and Assurance Centre. This new name reflects Seapeak's focus on delivering courses that exceed basic industry requirements, with an emphasis on verifying competence to ensure that Seapeak Officers consistently deliver service at the highest industry standards. Seapeak's Marine Assurance Team will be heavily involved in shaping course content, shaping it to specific Customer requirements and learnings from real-life scenarios and case studies.

The Seapeak Training and Assurance Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art simulators supplied by Kongsberg, including a Full Mission Bridge Simulator with an impressive 270-degree view. These advanced facilities provide immersive, hands-on training experiences that support the development of critical skills and reinforce Seapeak's reputation as a leader in maritime training and assurance.

"Our commitment to excellence is embodied in this new centre. By co-locating with our Operational Hub and investing in the latest training technology, we are ensuring that our Officers are not only prepared but proven to deliver industry-leading service," said Seapeak's Vice President, Operations, Chris McDade.

The combined location also allows Officers to liaise more readily with shore-based staff, reinforcing relationships and building operational support through the ethos of one team.

Seapeak invites all stakeholders and partners to make an appointment to visit the new Seapeak Training and Assurance Centre and experience first-hand the innovative approach to competence verification and skills development that will shape the future of maritime operations.
